Church services were held to commemorate the Silver Jubilee. This programme was from a celebration held at Churchend Primary School, Tilehurst in 1977.

Church services were held to commemorate the Silver Jubilee. This programme was for the Ascot District Christian Council’s United Service on Ascot racecourse in 1977.

Church services were held to commemorate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee. Hymn-writer Timothy Dudley-Smith was asked to write an extra verse for his well-loved hymn ‘Lord for the Years’ to mark the occasion. It was sung as the third verse as seen in this programme.

The Windsor and Eton Society was founded in 1946 with an aim to promote and protect the heritage of Windsor and Eton. For the Golden Jubilee they raised £3,500 for the Plantation Fund enabling 50 trees to be planted. They received this thank you from the Queen for their efforts.

In 2010 the Windsor and Eton Society ran a competition to design a monument to mark the Diamond Jubilee. The competition was won by teenager Caroline Basra with her design of a spiral of 60 spheres. Her Majesty unveiled the monument, installed in the King Edward Court, on 9 October 2012.
