Parking for Yeomanry House

Posted in News on 15 Jan 2025

UPDATE 21/01/2025

We have now been advised that the parking contractors will only patrol the front of Yeomanry House rather than the back. This will start on 29/01/2025.

However, as highlighted in the image with yellow arrows below, parking for visitors to the Royal Berkshire Archives only, is along the white wall of our building, as well as along the tall walled area next to it.

To avoid any risk when visiting the RBA, please park in the RBA designated spaces only.

We have been advised that the owners of Yeomanry House will be using a parking contractor to prevent parking onsite.

This affects parking at the front of Yeomanry House (where the garden area is) and four spaces behind the building. These spaces have a short red brick retaining wall around them (see image below).

We are warning customers visiting the Royal Berkshire Archives not to park in these four bays or in front of Yeomanry House as you will likely be fined.

Parking for visitors to the Royal Berkshire Archives only, is opposite those four bays along the white wall of our building, as well as along the tall walled area next to it (see image below).

We have not been given a date of when this will start but it is apparently imminent.

We can only apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
